Malby Jana Vytisky navazují na specifickou pop–surrealistickou linii současné české malby. Na pozadí streetartové estetiky a v kombinaci s precizní malířskou technikou jsou směsí pop kultury, aktualizované prvky venkovské mytologie, a folkloru, který se překlopil do polohy fantasy. Vymyšlené antropomorfní příšery se jakoby vynořují ze snových insitních světů starých společenství. Tajuplné surreálné příběhy však svojí estetikou připomínají současné animované pohádky pro dospělé. Objevuje se tu násilí i množství hororových scén. Předkládané výjevy zůstávají nekompromisně nereálné.
