Basile Ghosn is a painter, who applies his thinking to a very extended field. In his work he often uses xerocopies or screen printing, as well as industrial adjustments or found materials. His main themes are architectural forms of Modernism, which he converts through stencils and repetitive patterns. The final form of his installations is a carefully balanced constellation of seemingly inconsistent surfaces and materials, representing the remains of our modern memory. / pv
