Vilje Vestenfor's graduate work is a literary narration transferred and extended into an installation. The short stories capture the bitter end of a burned-out relationship that takes place on a way through Japan, its gas stations and night-buses, with an empty credit card. The self-defeating nature of the stories is framed by a carpet, aquariums and humidifiers that add a new layer to the literary story. / pv
