In her diploma thesis was Gabriela Halas dealing with unnameable media or bearers of subjective moods and feelings. She “deconstructs” the problematic or her own difficult-to-grasp moments, attempts to uncover their mechanisms or laws in order to analyze them. She projects her sensitivity into artistic communication, according to which she chooses the means used. She is primarily using on her journey the medium of painting, although she approaches it “elastically” and tests its various possibilities and forms, while at the same time she is seeking the connection between “ordinary” and “artistic” life, as well as the connections between the original and the current.
