START POINT PRIZE – Prize for emerging artists

INTERVAL Sound is just a transitory form in cinematographic creation and intentional silence created deliberately by the director in a film can be the most powerful moment of the story-the absence of action as a way of action/acting. INTERVAL contains those moments in which the character, in most cases in a close-up, remains somehow suspended, pending in the absence of dialogue, becoming extremely expressive, letting the viewer to imagine each character’s story. INTERVAL proposes a reinterpretation of film fragments in which the image is completely dominating, in a non-verbal dialogue.
