Izabela Koniarz
Izabela Koniarz has created drawings, prints and paintings exhibiting a rough grotesque imagination which illustrate imaginary stories. She added another media to her thesis work: she created an interactive website enabling the exchange of ideas to enrich our ordinary lives in some way. However, the visual appearance of the site, based on a simple animation (more specifically speaking, on individual visits there are three different versions available), approaches her work in traditional media in many ways thanks to its bizarre style. We find ourselves in a country house with a granny singing opera while cooking and embroidering. The other inhabitants of the house are hens who reward the visitor who writes down an idea by laying an egg which contains the idea written by the previous visitor. (mf)
