Claudia Bieberstein

Claudia Bieberstein works with geometric forms. The present cycle is based on a linear raster reminiscent of graph paper. Although her works are created in the computer, the artist accentuates the process of creating them – gradual, time-consuming and almost meditational in nature. First, line by line, she creates the raster, which she then modifies until the resultant composition emerges – extremely complex, refined and visually compelling. This is then printed on a stable base, in this case aluminum sheets, whose industrial character is well-matched to the nature of the geometric image.
