Stefanie Walk
Audiovisual installation of Stefanie Walk speaks of relationships between specific authors as love partners, but is also a kind of study of spontaneity and seduction, which turns into a ritual. A young woman invites us with an increasing expressivity into her own enclosure, accompanied with a sound of music, composed by her now ex-partner. The title I am you! points then to the general validity of emotions that accompany all amorous outset and breakups, subconsciously and painfully hypnotic. Two complementary photos of both mentioned authors overlap partially, but they are proudly (or rather resignedly) autonomous. (Pavel Vančát)
Born on the 5th of August 1984 in Berlin, Germany. 2012: diploma in fine arts at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin, Prof. Werner Liebmann.
